I don't know if it was old or just faulty, but it wouldn't seal the bags. I believe if tape would have stuck it would have been a time saver instead it was a time waster.

I'm not sure if I received a bad unit, but my tape dispenser does not work at all. Just tried to use it while processing an elk. It inconsistently taped the bags and rarely cleanly cut the tape. It never reset properly, so I always had to hand reset the tape, wasting time and tape. Before freezing all of the bags, I had to re-seal about half of the bags. I will be calling Eastman Outdoors, hopefully I just received a defective unit and a new one will work better.

Excellent product for the price. Very easy to use. Bags are easy to fill, would highly recommend this product to everyone.
