This grill works wonderfully. It is not as big as a common campfire ring you might find at a campsite....but you can set it over a portion of the circle and tend the fire accordingly and it will work great. It turns orange when in the fire directly, but I never saw it melt and it cooled of quickly as well.
It comes with a little carrying case, that is pretty cool.
Could be disassembled and turned into prison chivs, if the need arises. You never know when you might be thrown in jail while camping and left only with your Camerons Products Scout Camping Grill, but rest assured you can murder someone with it. In self defense.....of course.
