I like that this basket is thinner than the expensive ones sold at gourmet shops, my quesadilla doesn't have to be as thick to stay in place. I also find this basket useful to roast Indian Papadam halves, as they remain flat in this basket and not curl every which way.
The only thing I didn't like is the little wire spiral on the opposite end that sticks out a little bit, so you have to be careful with it.
