It didn't even last a year. This product is also marketed under a variety of brand names. I bought mine at Ace Hardware, but shopping for a replacement I have seen this identical product carried at most of the large discount retailers as well; such as: Lowes, K-Mart, and Home Depot. Mine was manufactured in India which I'm including for product identification purposes only. Generally, My experience with Indian made products has been positive, so the nation of origin is not the real issue, again, I include that information for identification purposes only.

Put it on our 3/4 full grill tank about a month ago, and it still to this day reads exactly the same as it did when we first hooked it up even though we've used our grill at least 5-7 times since then -and for more than 20-30 minutes (at full heat) a few of those times.By touch and sound, our tank is probably no more than 1/4 full at this point, but gauge still reads well up into the full/green area. It seems to be measuring the *pressure* of the tank, not the actual gas content; because if you shut off the tank and turn on the grill to clear the gas line, the gauge drops down to the red zone. As soon as you open the tank again, it goes right back up into the green.
Useless. Wasted $20 on this nonsense. Probably better to buy another style gas content gaugelike the one that weighs the tank or the one that is magnetic and sticks to the tank and tells you the level of gas in it.
