this product is not even close to being universal,will only attatch to certain kinds of burners (those w/ flanges), if you
are handy, have the tool's you can adapt this thing to fit,
but you shouldnt have to do that.
it does work well if you can get it mounted properly

This appears to be a one size is supposed to fig many grill approach to an ignitor. I've had this char-broil grill for 10 years and it has performed well but the ignitor was the 1st thing to go. So I've been lighting it with an extended bic lighter manually. No big deal.I bought this a spent an hour fiddling with it to make it work about 3 times. It does not fit well, the wire contact touches the frame of the grill grounding it out. It is just a waste of time for my specific grill.
I wish I had my money back along with my hour of time wasted.
I'm going back to the simple bic lighter. How hard is that?
btw the button is decent and good quality it seems. The weakness is the mounting hardware for the ignitor assembly and the way it attaches to the existing burner element.

This product broke within the first week of use and i would not recommend anybody to purchase this. There are other reviews with similar complaints that I saw before my purchase that I should have listened to so don't make the same mistake I did.
