I replaced my brick fire ring with a metal one. This is a lighter duty one than sold by some places. It is still heavy enough to last a long time, yet be more portable. Sturdy and portable.

This is a nice grill for fire pit insert, the only problem I have with it is the way its hinges are placed on the ring, could have a better design had I designed it for them.

Ring is NOT 24", it is 21.5", Beware of that before building your pit, the total size of outer ring is close to 24", that's all.

The product itself is massive, good weld, stable grill, nothing to complain about, other than having to rebuild that stone fire pit around it.
