this is a great doo-dad to have for grilling season, or anytime you want to marinate anything. ingenious/simple design, sturdy, cleans up easily, and I use it ALL the time. you really have to make sure you snap the side accessory holder in place SECURELY or you'll lose your beer... I was watching "I want that" on DIY network and they had an item similar to the Charcoal Companion, so as I searched amazon for it, I came across this product. I use this product three to four times a week, i really like it. The two separate plastic containers are color coded and have the words "cooked" or "raw" labeled on them. There is a plastic cover that snaps into place as well. I load up the top tray with raw meat, season, cover, and let the meat come to room temp. Once I put the meat on the grill, I simply switch containers, putting the raw container on the bottom, know I have a clean container to lay the cooked meat, with no cross contamination. Great product, I wish I would have invented this. If you grill outside and you are tired of having to run inside and out of the house to get plates, etc, then get this item.
