I bought this product primarily to cook fish on the grill. There were two problems with this basket that led me to send it back without ever using it. First, the tines that make up the basket are spaced too far apart so less dense fish (think talapia) would easily fall through as would smaller pieces of vegetables. The 2nd problem was the way the basket closed which made it very likely for the user to get fingers smashed during closure. I have a cast iron basket with much smaller holes that just sits on top of the grill and I will just continue to use that for fish and vegetables unless I find a better quality version of this type of basket. Great idea but poor design.

Baskets work superbly. Holds 9 giant half pound burgers or 16 boneless chicken thighs. Solid construction. Solid closure. Handle allows the grill lid to close while using for grilling or smoking. Non-stick design a big plus as well. Not designed for fish or finely sliced veggies of course. But perfect for their intended use.

We bought the grilling basket to take camping. We used it for wieners and for corn on the cob over an open fire pit. We were very happy with the way the food turned out. We will probably come up with all kinds of ideas to use it for. The basket was a bit awkward to flip and maneuver otherwise it would get 5 stars. All in all it enhanced our camping experience.

This grilling basket replaced one that had seen better days.

This one is nonstick which is great, but I still spray with oil.

I use it all the time and would purchase it again if I needed another one.

Difficult to find in stores at the end of summer season, but Amazon had it which was great!
