The finish on this cookware is very rough. the bottom of both the skillet and the Dutch oven need some finish grinding and a re-curing. I do like the lifter with this set but probably would not buy it again due to the poor finish and curing.This is a great well made cast iron set. It is a little on the high price side, but I am still very satisfied with this set. The gloves actually fit my xl hands;)
