I bought this smoker about 2 years ago and have had nothing but success with it. Now the default thermometer was junk so I replaced that right away with one that actually worked but the construction of the smoker itself is pretty solid.
I have smoked ribs, chicken, pork, sausage, etc using a variety of wood chips and chunks and haven't had any issues at all.
I bought this when I was just getting into smoking as I wanted to pick up a smoker that was solidly constructed yet not too expensive. The Smoke Hollow fit the bill perfectly.
So if you're looking for a decent smoker without putting out a ton of money I would suggest looking at Smoke Hollow smokers.

Ok, obviously this is probably the most poorly made smoker out there, but look at the price! Is it any wonder?! I only paid $120 for mine at a local big box store where "you save big money at..." I feel like I got what I paid for. Assembly is fairly straightforward, however the manual IS a joke as other reviews stated. I got mine up to 370 degrees within 10 mins so I don't know about the one guys problem. I don't think he realizes that LP gas does t need the baffles open to run hot. That's only in a coal or wood fire. LP is gonna burn despite your airflow regulation, in which case less is more. Either way, I think this smoker will perform just as it should for the price. Transport and storage should be done delicately, cause this thing really is only a flame retardant version of the cardboard box it comes in.
