These bags will hold an entire cut up chicken or a large fish filet. It's easy to use and the smokey flavor is really good.The down side: I've used other smoker bags which seemed sturdier. You have to carefully cradle your food on and off the grill or the bag will come apart. However, the sturdier bags are priced much higher.
One other down side: I find I have to cook my food longer than suggested on the product folder. In fact the instructions could be better i.e.: grill lid down or up? Direct or indirect? Trial and error taught me to use the lid down and direct heat on high.
Once you get used to cooking with these I think they're excellent.

I looked into buying a smoker and I also read quite a bit about the art form of smoking meat. Well it's quite an investment in time to learn how to do it and you can lose a fortune on meats experimenting so if you are just the average person that enjoys grilling and want to try something new these are great. We have used the Hickory and the Mesquite and enjoyed the result from both. You do have to watch what you are cooking closely. We put a about 1 1/2 pounds of bonless pork ribs in the bag, after 20 minutes on the grill we carefully cut the bag open from the top to avoid causing a flare up from the juices in the bag, removed the smoked meat and then gave it less than a minute directly on the grill just to give it some char marks.Be very careful because the bag will have a lot of fat and juices and spilling it onto the grill or yourself could have serious consequences.
