Made of thin, flimsy plastic which curls around the edges. No padding or backing underneath the mat. The black part of the mat is more like a dark grey and shows every spot. The picture of it shown makes it look much better than the actual product. My husband says that he likes it a lot, though, being the Giants fan that he is.Perfect fit for the BBQ and shows off my team pride! Thin but fairly durable, not sure how long it will actually last.
