Since the real value of this item is only truly evident over time, I cannot yet fully endorse it, but I do feel confident it will live up to most of my expectations. I live near the beach, and between the temperature extremes common in grills, salt air, and six years worth of heavy use, my original "flavorizer" bar had finally gotten to the point I needed to replace it. I ordered this item because they invoke the "Fire Magic Grills" name in the headline. Fact is, it seems to work fine, though it was manufactured in China (original bar was manufactured in USA). Time will tell, but thus far, it's doing the job fine.

Product was shipped and delivered on time. Product appeared well made and fit perfectly into my Fire Magic grill. I am very satisfied with the product based on the initial installation.

The key thing you need to keep in mind is this is a single plate, not sure why they are not sold in pairs. All the Fire Magic grills use two plates. My fault for not checking, just assumed for the price I was ordering two. Fits great, fast shipping, need to order another one.

I got this to replace the flavor grid on my fire magic BBQ. It doesn't seem quite as heavy duty as the name brand original, but it cost substantially less than the replacement I could buy on the brand name website, looks and is sized the same, and is working well so far!
