This product seemed like a handy way to start charcoal and worked well for 6 months and then suddenly died. I had used it perhaps 10 times. This works out to around $2 per use.
Amazon indicates the product is non-refundable after just 1 month and did not stand behind this product. NOT RECOMMENDED.

What can I say. It worked OK, but I forgot to put it away and the weather ruined it. The problem is it's hot when you take it out of the barbeque so I set it down on the brick fire pit to cool off, then I forgot about it later. Maybe this is my fault, but maybe a better made unit would have survived a little rain better.

This is a product that makes grilling fast and easy! Eight minutes and you will have perfect coals no matter how windy or wet the weather! Very dependable lighting method and you will not have that pertroleum flavor that is always present when using lighter fuel! You also don't have that burned paper mess left when using the charcoal chimney! No Brainer here! Love it!

Used the first day right out of box and onto Big Green Egg. Within 10 mins I had a good fire glowing.
