The new replacement came in perfect condition and fit my grill like a glove. I didn't have to do anything to it prior to using it other than clean it to get rid of any manufacturing or shipping leftovers that may have been on it but it looked perfect.

The original grate got rusty and we could not find a proper fitting replacement in all the BIG name stores. We gave up and turned to Amazon we got the perfect grate.
