these are very good replacements after my old ones rusted out. just watch out. it seems that a lot of the dimensions of these bars are wrong on amazon. this specific ad says they are 25.5" but they are really 21.5" which is what i needed. i would suggest first visiting the weber grill site to find the exact model number you need, then go by that when you order from here.

These "stainless" flavorizer bars are made of a stainless steel that attracts a magnet, so probably a 400-series not a higher-grade 300-series stainless. For around $40-delivered, you can buy the identical-size and model # product from Riversedge, made of a similar 400-series stainless and twice the metal thickness. Check it outthe reviews for that 3rd-party product are quite good.

I have an 15+ year old Weber grill that came with porcelain steel grates and flavorizer bars. I've already replaced the grates and bars once (along with a few other pieces). Although I was happy with the quality of the previous parts, I decided to take a chance on the more expensive stainless parts. I'm glad I did. They seem to be a little heavier, holding the heat better, and so far are holding up extremely well.
