While this Tripod appears to be well made, at the lowest possible setting, the "Anywhere Grill" is above waist height for a six-footer. If you are seven feet or taller, this tripod might work out swell.

I can't understand the favorable reviews for this item. The stand is sturdy but poorly designed. As another reviewer noted, it puts the grill at a range of heights starting at about 36" (too high) and going up to about 60" (ludicrously high). How is it remotely useful to put a grill five feet off the ground? I thought about trimming the tubing to make it shorter but even that wouldn't have put the grill low enough. Forget it.
