The Flexiflame is an inexpensive, serviceable lighter. It's a shade over 11 inches long and is made of plastic and metal. Mostly I use this lighter to start fires in the fireplace, but it can also be used to light candles or charcoal in charcoal grills.

The neck of this lighter is indeed flexible easy to position and holds its shape.

Be aware that the lighter is child resistant, not childproof. It takes more than a little effort to squeeze the igniting trigger, making it child resistant.

The flame can be adjusted to some degree using a little switch.

One can refill this lighter using lighter fluid, but I haven't had the need to do so yet.

The flame will stay lit in a gently breeze, but when it's windy out the flame may die prematurely.

I also have a Scripto wind resistant flexible. It's much better in the wind, but I like the gentle flame of the Flexiflame better. Also those requiring an extra long lighter may want to look at other models available.

I ordered 3 of them as I thought they were like the old one I have. None of them work. I have even had others try to make them light and no luck.

I ordered 6 of these lighters and none of them worked!!! I am glad i only bought 6 I was going to buy alot more but shipping cost was more than the product. what a waste of money and my time!!!! Don't waste your money or time!!!
