**WARNING EXTREMELY DANGEROUS**

I really do have to put a huge warning on the "Match Light" charcoal. It is very dangerous. As it says, it is match light. There is no need for lighter fluid. It does work great. And stay hot longer than the normal ccharcoal. You don't taste the fluid when the food is cooked because it burns off before it reaches the food. As all of us know that when we add fluid, we do put more on the coals when the food is grilling. That's when we taste it in the food. You don't need any at any time when using this. But now the dangerous part of this, is that it's very flammable. When you cook with charcoal, you have to add more coal every hour to have a steady temperature. I did this by pouring more on like you would normally. The coals inside the bag caught fire. They started to catch fire quite quickly. I had to fold the top of the bag to put the fire out. After that I had to replenish the fire. So I didn't pour it on again. I grabbed the coals with my hand; my hand caught fire. I didn't get burned because I always keep a hose within reach. I can't say enough to be careful. So if you do need to add more. Get a small bag of the "Match Light" and just place the bag on the fire or use a pot and place the coals into the pot and pour it on. Step back right away after that. Never let children handle this. Like I said, my hand caught fire. If you have the coal dust on your hands, there's a good chance your hand will catch fire. This is a great product and works great but just be careful.

This charcoal was nice and easy to use. I used it for my first time grilling on my own, and I didn't have any trouble at all. I'll probably buy this again the next time I need charcoal.

Picked this up from a local store for quite a bit cheaper than Amazon but it works well, lights easily and stays lit while the bricks warm up. Definitely recommend this charcoal

As of today, this item title states "Kingsford 71700 7.2 Pound Kingsford Match Light Charcoal Briquettes" for $7.99 + $6.79 shipping. However, the photo is of the regular briquettes, the white & blue bag with red & yellow highlights, and the packaging states "The Original". When I asked for "Match Light", it gave me the black bag with red on the bottom third, with the 6.70 pound bag for $9.15 + $7.29 shipping, and "Match Light" clearly on the front of the bag. (This is not a review, we all know they work great)
