I had given this grill brush a five-star rating just a few days ago, but now must change it to only one star. Why? While cleaning off the grill today I noticed that the brush has started shedding metal bristles. Lots of them, and this is only the fourth time I have used the brush. I have handled it no differently than others I have used in the past, and those had no shedding issues whatsoever. (They were just as inexpensive as this one, too.) It is a good thing that I was paying attention, because otherwise my steak and asparagus would have been seasoned with sharp barbs of stainless steel. I'm throwing the brush away, as well as the extra replacement head I purchased with it. The folks who produce this brush should consider recalling them, and Amazon might want to consider notifying buyers of this potential problem.

I went through several grill brushes on amazon and chose this one in particular because of the reviews and because it claims that, "Replaceable head included". Not the case at all. Just a heads up for everyone out there.

Nice brush, long handle, great quality and construction but I am disappointed that Amazon is advertising that it comes with a replacement head when it does not.

I am not happy about this purchase. I got the brush and fired up the grill, steak at hand. Once the grill was nice and hot, I eagerly started to scrub it down. It looked great beautifully clean metal. But then I looked down at the brush: the side of the plastic pad had melted and several groups of bristles were coming loose. I felt ripped off. Cheap plastic junk. Sorry, but I have to find something else.

The Brush was what I could expect for the price. A fairly flimsy handle that made it difficult to really clean the grate. After the second use one of the rivets broke and made the brush useless. Luckily I was able to return it.Kingsford KRU40 St. Louis Grill Brush
