Purchased my first of these two years ago. I'm now having to purchase a second because the wiring is rusted and it does not light with the electronic starter. I called Lynx and they sent me two new emitter/starters. The screws won't unscrew to replace them (rusted too). The instructions indicate this should be used OUTSIDE. Mine is under cover and the wiring connections still rusted very badly. They should definitely NOT have used metal electrical connectors but something like brass or zinc that does not rust as easily. I would never have purchased a second but it's built-in so I have no choice. I'll say one thing positive that the burners work well (when you manually light them) and get very hot.
