I bought this back in october 2012 when it was $250.

Now Its an even better deal at $207.

(I saved 30 bucks by applying for the amazon card).

It works well for the cool spring nights.

I put it on the patio this past memorial day weekend, 2013.

It does wonders for pleasant conversation.

I have no negatives about this item.

The radiant heat can "reach out" to 6-8 feet

comfortably.

Duraflame logs look nice with the "consistent flame"

if you just want to flame-gaze, but real wood burns

best (especially if you want heat).

The aluminum is alot nicer than the cast iron models

and ultra-light weight too.

I put 3 chunky logs in and removed the top cap.

The flames shoot out the top like a blow torch

(which is safe) and nice for "well-done" marsh mellows.

Overall, this is safe and adds fun to any size gathering.

Ps...start your wood up with a propane torch (so easy).

We bought this chiminea for our deck and it is just perfect. It looks great and works very well. It is very easy to put together and doesn't take long at all. It comes with a cover which is really nice. I'm sure we will be enjoying this product for a long time.

Amazon rejected my first review because it was an issue with late delivery (3 days late). They referred me to the distributor and the UPS. Now that we have the item, it is missing a couple of parts. I can't say that we are at all pleased with this purchase. The unit is a little smaller than we expected, but that's okay. I just wonder how long it will be until we get the missing parts.
