The regulator on my grill started to "buzz", and the grill did not get hot enough. I purchased a replacement at a camper store, but it was not satisfactory. A Google search taught me a lot about high versus low pressure regulators. I selected the King Kooker and hooked it up. The outflow side has a smaller pipe size than my original, but an adapter fixed that. The grill works better than new. I could adjust the flow to maximize the burner flame, and had plenty of adjustment either way. A good product. I live in the Western Mine mountains, where winter is below zero, so I look forward to being able to fine tune the regulator for lower temperatures.

I thought this would be a 30 psi (High Pressure) regulator. They think 10 psi is "high" pressure. Not described enough.Best Deals for King Kooker 00502 High Pressure Adjustable Regulator with Type 1
This unit transforms your lackluster gas grill. But it isn't the easiest to use in practice.A few Notes:
1. I use this mainly for super high temperature steak grilling.
2. It is very sensitive and has a wide range of pressure. You will likely use it in the middle of its multi-turns, and adjust in a 90-degree range of the knob;
3. The adjustment knob is "Right turn" for more gas, "Left turn" for less gas; opposite to the gas valve of the tank or any normal faucet;
4. I use my normal regulator when I don't need the boosted gas; using the rotisserie for instance. Because of the different way this regulates, the grill's top-side heat valves have a reduced range -or at least is seems this way on mine. I keep a wrench and the old regulator with my grill at all times.
The main thing is to use it within the small range of the multi-turn red valve setting, the extremes of this valve are not very useful (for a typical gas grill) and at the high end could get you in trouble (melt-down type of trouble).
One last note: It makes it possible to actually cook a steak on your average gas grill.
