This thermometer was a great price and easy to use. Just stick it in and check the temperature. Clean up is easy too. Used it to do my turkey Christmas. Worked great.

Thermometer came exactly as pictures. The red piece is removable and is a nice silicone material. The actual probe itself is about 4 inches long. Great for cooking and checking temps. I have used this thermometer several times now since I got it and it seems to be very accurate. It's a very basic design, which is what I wanted. I picked this up in April of 2012 to use in my grill and I no longer use it. I had some initial issues with it because it just didn't seem right, accuracy-wise. A few months later I picked up an electronic one and did a comparison, this thermometer simply wasn't very accurate temperature-wise so now it's in the bottom of a box with other grilling items.I don't recommend this, sure it can give you a very basic understanding of the temperature but the accuracy is questionable. Spend a few extra dollars and get something better, you'll be happier.
