I just received the Music City Metals replacement Heat Plates #97051 and was disappointed they were made in China. after opening the boxes I found the plate tabs have been bent enough to have the porcelain coating crumbling off. These parts fit good, but the porcelain coating is very thin and will not last. If I would have known this, I definitely would have stepped up to the stainless steel heat plate, it would have been much better in the long run.

Bought these to replace Kenmore factory plates. The replacements through Sears was obscenely expensive (won't be buying anything else from Sears...they've lost their way). These seem to do a very good job. My only complaint is that where the two plates meet, there is a hotspot in center of the grill where the two plates meet (they won't sit exactly flush). Other than that, definitely worth buying to replace overpriced factory plates.
