These are made from stainless and therefore I expect them to last longer than the ceramic covered sheet metal they replace.

The length front to back fit fine on my Nexgrill however the width does not. I could not find any larger version so I ordered this. It works OK but I will need to find a way to keep them from sliding left to right.

This claimed to be a direct replacement for my grill, and while it does "fit" it is really about 1/2" short on the long side and 2" short on the width. I would say most normal people who do not have callused hands like mine would need gloves to handle this with out getting cut like a razor blade. Every surface that is cut is sharp and burred.

It does work, but not nearly as well made as the factory one that was not great to begin with.

For the price, I would order it again though.

I was given an older Nexgrill gas BBQ. It was fully functional except for missing the "flame tamers". After a different set was on back-order from the manufacturer I decided to try these. They fit well. The rectangular cutouts let you see the gas bars. Flare ups are greatly reduced. I regard these heat plates/flame tamers as essential for the grill and these seem to be of good quality. My only complaint, and it may not be related to these plates, is the grill does not get as hot as I would like for searing meats, but perhaps this is my inexperience with gas grills (I've always been a charcoal Weber guy).

I ordered two of these to replace mine which were getting brittle and corroded and had seen better days. The replacements are straight, square and fit well. They definitely aren't as solid as the ones they replaced. Time will tell how well they hold up. I tried them tonight and they definitely got glowing red. As the wife said, perhaps the buildup on the old ones made them seem stronger than they really were.
