This tool is a complete waste of money. It is very flimsy, the hinge broke on the second calzone I tried to make, and the first wasn't very pretty. I thought this would make it easier to form a nice calzone, but it is more trouble than forming it by hand. It ended up in the garbage before I finished the second one.

So I bought the large calzone forming press thinking that it would help me make prettier calzones. It is the size of a small pizza folded in half, which ends up being at least big enough for 2 people. Yeah I am complaining about a silly thing, but I just thought it would be a little smaller. Maybe I thought that it would be more individual size, or at least a 1/3 smaller than it is. Oh well. Anyways, the press itself is pretty flimsy and I felt like I was going to break it the first day while trying it out. I am sorry that it bought it and wished I bought one in the store that I could have picked up and worked. So I definitely wouldn't suggest any of my friends or maybe not even my enemies to pick this product. I guess I will go back to just making them by hand. Seems easier that way too.

I have been making homemade calzones for the past few years, but I would always have trouble with overfilling or not being able to get them to seal just right. Sometimes they weren't as presentable as I would have liked; aesthetics is an important component of presentation. The forming press allows for me to perfectly portion out the filling and does a wonderful job of sealing the calzone, while at the same time molding it into something presentable. :)
