When I bought my grill I thought these were useless pieces. I quickly chucked them in the trash without a second thought. A year later and I realize these not only keep my steaks from cooking unevenly they act as a force shield over my precious burners keeping them from rusting. I would highly suggest these be kept in the grill and not merely thrown away.
They fit my 5 year old Charbroil grill without any issues.

Looked around at the manufacturer for these and they wanted something outrageous for them. Found em here for much less and they are exactly like my old rusty ones. Good buy for the money.

These parts fit my Char Broil grill perfectly! They shipped really fast, and the price was less that 50% what they would have cost at Lowe's! They sell these heat shields to fit almost any grill made look here first!!
