Ever BBQ scallops or shrimp and have them spin on the skewer? I bought these double pronged skewers at a local hardware store for years, but they stopped carrying them. Thank goodness I was able to find them at Amazon. They're bamboo, and as long as you don't burn them, they can be reused several times.

Using the double prong bamboo kabob skewers makes grilling kabobs so much easier. Food stays in place, no spinning around the skewer. These skewers look much more elegant than the single skinny skewers.

I got tired of using the one-prong skewers and the veggies and meat turning around on them. The only negative, with these particular skewers, is my husband did the grilling, and he indicated that they got way too hot for him to handle (even though I had soaked them beforehand). I realize they all get hot, but the handles on these were hard to manipulate. One other negative you can only use them once.

These worked great on the scallops, but do not work on vegetables. The vegetables kept breaking. But for meat it worked great.
