Too big. I had a smaller Maverick digital that worked better and was smaller. This is large, and takes about 10 to 15 seconds for an accurate read.

I think the probe itself was 9" and the handle/electronics part was another 5-6". Not what I was looking for, but if you want a giant thermometer this product is for you!

Probe is okay, about 50% larger than how it appeared on the website. I was expecting something much smaller and compact. Guess I should have read the specificaitons more carefully.
