I dont usually write reviews, but I had to defend this product. I have this sensor controlling 3 12v 100watt LED flood lights. The power rating for this sensor is low (for whatever reason). The other two folks that reviewed this product have exceeded the load rating which has fused the internal relay closed. If you buy this sensor, count on using an external 12v relay to handle the load and use the sensor to trigger the external relay only. If you do this it will operate flawlessly. I am buying 2 more of these right now.

I bought one of these and it failed after about 1 month. Lights come on and stay on all the time.

You reset it, once it's triggered, the lights stay on and drain the battery.

About 1 year later, i though maybe they updated it, so I bought another. They were the only 12V model I could find. Same thing again. Works for a while then the lights stay on and drain the battery.

Battery is 114 AH, fully charged by solar and monitored. Battery disconnects automatically if it gets to 9 volts. Why am I saying this? Nothing wrong with my system. These 12V sensor simply do not work.

I have the same experience as the previous customer.

We had two of these, both broke within 7 days of operation. One simply refused to work after one day, the other quit after a week, with the motion sensor/electronics malfunction and thus the lights being on 24/7. Not sure why that's the case. We returned both and got two new ones, which we are about to install...
