Needed a replacement for my old grill which was in bad shape. I liked the camp chef stoves for all of the accessories that you can get with it. The retail price is a bit absurd in my opinion, and recently another online vendor had a sale with this stove and the stainless steel BBQ box for around $300. I couldn't pass that up.Setup was VERY easy, and it looks like I could actually break it down for travel to tailgate or go camping with larger groups. I had to adjust the igniters a little bit out of the box, but that was no biggie. One of the knobs is a little hard to turn, but it is fully functional. Recently I used the BBQ box to grill chicken for chicken Alfredo and brought the pasta pot out to cook on the stove. Yeah the pasta was done a whole lot quicker outside on the stove with a real burner than on my flat top electric stove. The BBQ box worked very well for the chicken, and the temps inside the BBQ box even at low settings was pretty high if I kept it closed. And I didn't even have to use that high of a setting on the burners underneath the BBQ.
Another reviewer commented about how the numbers and lettering wore off, well that happened on my old grill because it wasn't covered and these areas were exposed to extreme sun and rain. I have a cover for my somerset to keep things in better shape for longer.

Great BTU output but thats about it.I have three out of 4 control knobs that cant be used because they are too stiff to turn. All the writing has worn off every knob, the igniter knob has broken off at the shaft and stripped out the knob. The control knobs get so hot you must use mittens to turn them when you can get them to turn. The two burner grill box is great for a few months but now has rusted out and tweaked out of shape. I bought a metal plate diffuser to put between the burners and the bottom of the grill box which helped but the box is just designed cheap. Grill is always covered and under a roof over with no exposure to the rain.
I contacted the company and am currently waiting on an answer.
This item is several hundred overpriced for the quality.
