This hose allows you to hook up a 20 lb propane tank instead of the small disposable ones, use that Weber Q grill for a season on one tank, save huge money and don't run out of propane in the middle of the steak.

If you're looking at yet another hose because a squirrel chewed through the hose you have, you're not alone. I added a stainless steel braided hose cover (look at my other reviews) to cover and protect the hose from those grey tree rats.

As of today, the picture shown on the product page does not show the correct hose. The picture shows an inside threaded hose (will work with old and new style tanks). The item received is outside threaded so will only work with new style tanks. This will work fine for most people but I had a full old-style tank that I was hoping to use up so returned and purchased a different model. The hose seems to be well made and is priced less that comparable hoses.
