Grilled some haddock on these planks and they came out great -my only issue is that while other planks on amazon state they can be reused, these ones do not.. I assumed they were reusable though because they didn't say "one time use" so I bought them based on what I had read on the other products. Once I received the packaging states one time use disposable planks meaning they pretty much cost the same as the haddock I put on them! So beware if you are looking for a hardy reusable plank as there are others similarly priced on amazon that say reusable.

I used these for planking salmon they worked great, salmon came out beautifully and was delicious. Easy and added a very nice flavor and kept the fish moist.

We had never use cedar grilling planks before. I ordered them because of curiosity, price and free shipping. We like them so much (once we figured out how to not let them get too hot and catch on fire!) that we purchased a box full. Give them a try and use the salmon recipe provided. When I bought these, I expected multi-use. I figured each plank would last a good month of summer grilling. While not mentioned in the description, on the packaging it says one time use only. I still expect to get multiple uses out of it, but it's annoying that it wasn't mentioned online. It was already annoying that it's listed organic. That's like calling a tree free-range. There is no such legal definition of wood.
