Its quite a bang for your buck...the lid is not super sturdy and showed up a little bent up, but I was prepared for this from reading reviews on most brands. I was more concerned for the quality of the actual cast iron pot. It has been great! I didnt really have to season the pot, and the jambalaya came out great! I have also used it for pasta-laya, etouffee, gumbo, etc. Great for a large tailgate or family gathering.

Used this pot twice, excellent results. Cooked a pot of pastalaya an it worked great.

Well worth the money, the flat bottom is the key.

Very rough casting, crude grinding to remove lumps. Pot was cast heavy on one side so it would not hang level with the pot hooks on my tripod. Sale price was good and it would be fine to use with the frame type tripod and a banjo burner.
