After reading a few of the previous reviews I was a little reluctant to purchase this item, but did becasue it was from the manufacturer. I frankly don't know what the negative reviews are all about. This product installed easy, fit my Sunbeam 340 perfectly with the fixed tubes. And when fired up works better than ever.... I recommend this as a fix to give your grill another several years!!!

Old Sunbeam 340, heavy use year round, replaced the burner a few times with a so-called "universal" from the hardware store...finally broke down and ordered an OEM part from here....took all of 15 minutes to install, using the "bendable" tubes...screws didnt strip, connections tight, and the tubes didn't break. Hardest part was getting down underneath to make sure the thing was "set" right...might've been able to do that standing, but I wanted to "make sure" it was seated right..considerable improvement from the "universals"... Had to read the instructions couple of times to realize you use one set of instructions for one set of tubes, not both, and then you have the old "extra parts" for which theres no use...

I have owned my grill for 12 years, and I put it together myself originally. This replacement burner kit came with both flexible and solid venturi tubes and all washers and screws needed to install it easily. I ended up using the flexible ones. My best girlfriend and I had it all put together in 5 minutes using only a phillips head screwdriver. We turned on the gas and lit it up... success! If two middle-aged chicks can make it work, anyone can!

A half-hour with a screwdriver, a 3/8" socket, and this kit turned an ancient Sunbeam grill, that we were considering throwing out, into a perfectly acceptable appliance. Shipped quickly and adequately packaged. Full instructions and spare nuts, stand-offs, and extra venturi tubes were included.
