-1 Star Advertized to be direct replacement for Charbroil 463248108.
Nope.
-1 Star Advertized to be 18.25 x 26.25 and it actually says on the box from the Mfgr. 18.25x26.25 They are actually 19x24 and are too long and not wide enough for my grill.
Sending back for refund.
OK, after further investigation, I figured out the problem.
Amazon marked the box incorrectly. They incorrectly put an inventory tag of 66652 on a box containing model number 66662. The Item # 66662 is clearly marked on the box which is 19x25.
I contacted Amazon and they sent out a replacement. The replacement came in today and was the correct 66652 model and it fits even better then the originals.

We are very happy with the Cast Iron Grills from Music City Metals. Was a real step up from the previous original porcelain grills that deteriorated in a short time. Clean up is easy and seasoning them was also pretty quick and easy to do. I was so amazed how fast we received this item once ordered.Best Deals for Music City Metals 66652 Matte Cast Iron Cooking Grid Replacement
These grates seem to be of high quality and fit just the same as the originals on my Charbroil grill. They are much cheaper than the name brand replacement parts.Make sure to season them, especially if you are in a climate that is prone to rusting. I've learned that lesson the expensive way.

Definitely got exactly what the decription says...it fits the grill perfectly and looks like cast iron to me. I did follow online instructions to season the grates and recommend that you do so as well. I have only BBQed on it a couple of times and it cooks differently than my porcelin covered grates so I will just have to learn the tricks of the trade. Hoping that through proper care these can last much longer than the grates that came with it did...2yrs.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Music City Metals 66652 Matte Cast Iron Cooking Grid Replacement
I bought this particular grate set to put into my Char-Broil 3 burner "Tru-Infrared" grill. I got talked into that thing at Menards...what a huge disappointment and waste of money. Anyway, I measured the dimensions of the original grates (3 of them) and this set seemed like a perfect fit. The dimensions of these grates are right at the dimensions they advertise, so they dropped right in.The slats are good and thick and look like they will hold up well, hopefully the metallurgical quality is up there and they don't crack (cracking while cooling is a huge concern with cast iron). I seasoned them before using by applying some canola cooking spray, and baked it in for a while at low heat. That should help prevent rusting and sticking.
The only CON these have in my opinion: The texture is rough (sand-cast), making stuff stick to them easily. I don't think there's a remedy for this except lots of oil, and not lifting your food until it's good and ready to flip. If you want smooth, buy the porcelain coat or stainless grates. I bought these because I want thick grates that hold heat, sear your food, and leave big grill lines.
If you're going to use these on a Char-Broil Tru-Infrared grill like I did, the originals are built much different and they do not flare up. Upon putting these on my grill, they REALLY flare up now, so you have to be careful. I'll just have to use leaner meat and watch my habits so I don't charcoal my meals. That grill wasn't engineered for open grates so I can't fault the grates, it was my experiment. But I do know that these are 1000 times easier to clean up than the originals. Ten uses and I threw those in the scrap hopper because all the little pinholes plugged up to the point that a wire brush and the scraping tool were useless.
I ordered this item twice: the first time it came, Amazon or whoever distributed it, screwed up. The sticker on the box said #66652, but the box itself said #66662 in BIG BOLD LETTERS. Shows how little we pay attention to detail nowadays. I had to reorder, and the right ones came the second time around. I read that they also did this same thing to another guy.
