Review of Fox Run Shish Kabob Set

I was looking for a shish kabob set for the grill, it seems with just the skewers the food gets burned and its sticks to the grill grate. With this set the skewers are great and the cage to set them in fits on the grill great. The veggies and meat were delicious !!! I highly reccommend this product :)

This works great on the grill or in the oven. I like the flat spears keeps the vegies from falling off the scure. I would recoment this for anyone.

The skewers that came with this set roll over and do not stay where you want them for even cooking. I am however happy with the set overall; the set does keep the bobs off the grill and there is ample space between the skewers.

Honest reviews on Fox Run Shish Kabob Set

I would give this a five star rating but the item I received was not the same as in the picture so I lowered the review by one star. I'm not sure if this was an unintentional mistake or not but it is not the same as the one in the picture.

In the photo the skewers are round and bronze looking but the item I received are black and have a flattened sort of knife-like appearance instead of being round. The design is interesting since it seems that the food will be less likely to spin around on the skewer since it's flattened but BBQ is not what I was intending to use it for.

I have gotten into polymer clay beads and figured that this would be perfect to use for making and baking them on the skewer so they would have a hole and wouldn't lay flat on the baking tray causing one side to be 'dimpled' from where they clay sat. Since I did not receive the round version as shown in the picture I am a bit disappointed by this purchase.

That saidI'll still be keeping it since it seems to be a decent product and shish kabob's are awesome... but if you are looking for round skewers then look elsewhere.
