I have had my ceramic Primo XL Grill for about two years and I can say without a doubt it is the best grill/smoker I have ever owned and that says a lot. The extended cooking rack I purchased is in addition to the one extended rack I already own. The extended racks sit about 4 inches over the main grill rack and allow another layer of food to be cooked at the same time. I started with one rack when I purchased my grill, which covers half the grill surface. Having two allows me to double the cooking surface on Primo XL grill, which is already the largest surface available on any of the egg type cookers. As far as the racks there is not much to say. They are porcelain coated so they do not rust, easy to clean and support the best brisket, ribs fowl, etc. you will ever cook if they are used in a Primo Grill.

While the picture does show a full set of the grill racks for the Primo XL, the description, for those who actually read it, does say "Primo 332 Extended Cooking Rack for Primo Oval XL Grill, 1 per Box" Pay special notice to the "1 per box" part... This is exactly what I thought I was ordering and it's exactly what I received.
Fast shipping, brand new product, and for a good price. Works just as expected, too. If one is looking to add extra cooking space to their Primo XL ceramic grill, these racks are definitely the way to go. Now I just have to convince the wife to let me get the other one...

Guess I should have read the reviews first... I ordered this cooking rack as a Christmas present for my father thinking that I was buying a multi-tiered rack as depicted in the picture at a great price. When I received the rack I was very disapointed in my purchase. You are only purchasing one level of what is pictured at a high price. The description may say that you get "one per box" but one of what? Plus you dont have a choice of what that "one" is. The picture looks as if there are multiple sizes making up the entire rack. I received what I think is the bottom part of the multi-tiered rack. Even though I was not satisfied with what I received, my father, who wanted the rack for his Green Egg, was happy with the product as a whole, hence the 2 stars.

I purchased this product as a christmas gift so i have not yet seen it in action. But to let you know it is not what the pic. shows I received on rack not the four that are in the pic.. I called call amazon about it and they sent me a second order. To my surprise (lol) it was the same only one rack. Being it is a christmas present I did not want to send it back and try to get it right a third time. I spoke to amazon and I kept the first and second rack( which r the same size) and was not charge any diff. plus no shipping. Not what i was looking for but good enough. I did not want the hassel with a forigner on the phone.

I was the first of my friends to get a grill like this. Then I got a luflighter. They all made fun of me. Once they tried the food, they all have bought one. Best BBQ food ever
