I was hoping the thermometer would fit the exising hole that the old thermometer came out of...but the Tel-Tru is quite a bit thinner than the original supplied with the Egg. I was in a hurry to use it and ended up wrapping some tin foil around it and cramming it into the existing hole.

Better quality than the original Thermometer on my BGE. Fits perfect, has a glass face instead of plastic like the original. Works great!
