I bought this in May 2011 for my Egg, and after 3 brutal Seattle summers (yeah right), the plastic is separating and worn, like it is 10 years old. It outgasses a lot of plastic smell in the sun, you can smell it about 10 feet away. Maybe the cheap plastic used isn't made of long use.

Very upset after spending $100 after only 2 years and 4 months.

This is a quality product. We have a lot a damp weather (read fog) in the winter here. Our back yard doesn't get much sun in the winter, either, so things tend to stay damp or even wet for long periods of time. Once we put this cover on our Egg, no more dampness. It stays bone dry, even when everything else on the patio is wet. And for goodness sake, the name is embroidered on! Quality!
