I grill a lot and in general I am a gadget guy. I have a couple of the wireless temperature probe sensor thermometers, and I have a fork type thermometer. I seen these and thought this would be something that would be easy to use. I have only used them 3 times. I like my steak medium rare. When I took my steak off when the thermometer showed medium rare and after the steak sit for a few minutes, it was medium/medium well. The next time I grilled I used the thermometers in conjunction with my fork thermometer. When my fork thermometer was at the desired temp the Rosle thermometer dial had hardly move. I was grilling 4 steak also and each thermometer dial was slightly different. I do not regret buying them, maybe they will work out eventually. If they break, would I replace them, no. A plus and the main reason I bought them, they can be left on the grill during cooking (I only insert on the last flip of the steak).
