These wood chips add a nice flavor to what ever I cooked in my smoker.I tried them on brisket,baby back ribs,pulled pork,and chicken.They all had a nice distinct smokey flavor.I liked the flavor better when I did not soak them prior to cooking.

Tried this on an electric grill, heating soaked chips for 15 minutes before cooking. Really good smoke flavor, not overpowering.Pre-soaked chips in water for an hour, punched tiny holes in alum foil, and placed on grate. Won't grill without chips anymore.

Wood chips are hard to mess up, right? Well, I have bought some wood chips before that had a bad smell when you use them or the size was just too inconsistent. These work really well and the chips are good quality cherry. The smell is really great. Plus, the food I cooked definitely was smoke infused. Overall I am very satisfied. I soaked the chips for about 15 minutes and used a stainless grill smoke box.
