Don't know what "ProAccurate" is supposed to mean but I compared temperature readings with two other thermometers and this one I received runs about 25 degrees too low. Not worth returning at shipping cost return rate so it goes in the trash as I await delivery of a commercial grade Comark GT500K that's listed at +/5 degree tolerance max.

still questionable is percentage of accuracy, did not have IR heat gun have to verify. submersible is not stated: two pin holes on groove that seats the formed lifting wire; cleans up easily after sitting on grill and smoked like BBQ meats

nice little gauge,on my old one, the glass cracked and i dont know how much longer it will last.i put them side by side on the grill and they keep about the same temp. the big easy to read numbers are a must.
