I think this product works great! Cleans throughly, without harsh smell or any cleanup of goo globbed on like bristle brushes. I wish they lasted a little longer, I usually get at least four cleanings from each stone but they are very easy to use and do a great job!

The grill cleaning blocks that I bought on Amazon are the replacement blocks that fit in the red plastic handle/holder. They do a great job at cleaning grills and they last a pretty long time. I use them more than I use the normal wire brush, although I do still use a wire brush. You do have to wipe the grill off to remove the stone dust residue when you are done.

This product is similar to a pumice stone but not quite as abrasive. I used it on a very dirty grill and it polished it up like new using about a quarter of the stone up. Now i use it every few times i grill and it keeps it looking great. I think it would work well on porcelin cooking grates but i think cast iron might chew thevtone up too quickly.

I have these in the past at Walmart and they were fantastic cleaners of my grill rack --never had used anything that came close and with such ease. I though this order would be the same but it is much more difficult to use and much less useful.

I used to dread cleaning our indoor grill, and as a result didn't use it as much as I wanted to. After discovering that these simple stone blocks make it easy, we use the indoor grill all the time. The holder is useful too, but the blocks on their own work just fine too. Make sure you have plenty on hand, because they do get used up pretty quickly. I haven't used them on the outdoor grill yet, but am sure they would be just as effective.
