I have been using Camerons stovetop smoker for awhile but wanted an option for when I have a large volume of food to make for get togethers. I tried these bags using my favorite rib recipe and they came out better than when I've made them on the stovetop. Because the bag is sealed so well, any moisture from marinade or adding apple cider (as I do with my ribs) makes the meat even more "fall off the bone" tender with the excellent flavor of hickory smoked BBQ. While the bags are a bit pricey (amounts to $3/bag), they are worth it as you don't have much clean up, you simply throw away the bag. On the "green" front, I believe these are recyclable as they are aluminum foil? But not sure. Would be good for Camerons to let the customer know that when after all Emeril now has his "green" show.

Highly recommend for first time "smokers" as the wood is in the bag and all you need is the oven.

We just used the Cameron-Emeril Smoker Bags for the first time when camping with a large group to feed. We used them with salmon, pork and chicken in Alder and Hickory. They are the best cooking "gizmo" on the market today. No muss,fuss or mess to clean up afterwords. Great smokey bbq'd food without an expensive smoker or even a bbq. They work equally as well in the oven. But, the best part is the flavor and moistness of the food cooked in the bag. You cannot beat it!! OK... I have used these for years to make baby back ribs in combination with Dreamland's BBQ sauce I order through their website out of Alabama and WOW!! The best ribs ever no joke! Everyone that has had my ribs says made with this combination have said, "Best Ribs Ever!!"

Forget purchasing a smoker. This product works. We love our ribs and so many more foods that we like to smoke and the clean up is to simply throw the packaging away. Love it.
