Warned that you can never have too much heat, on our first try we placed the stone in our 5 yr old Ducane BBQ grill on high for about an hour. That first pizza was burnt and black on bottom in 3 minutes flat!
Preheating for 15 minutes at the middle range is enuf. We now get perfect handmade pizzas in about 7-8 minutes. The bottom is golden to brown the cheese on top is caramelized and golden.
This is the ticket.... love it!
