Nice, large grill mat. Thinner than I suspected it would be, but I believe it will do a nice job protecting the deck surface beneath my father's grill. You can throw it in the wash when it does get too dirty. One drawback is that you should not use this mat on composite or 'fake' woods as, in the hot sun, it will stick to these kinds of surfaces. Otherwise I think its a good product.

This mat is thin, and easily gets tangled. It is a tripping hazard for that reason. However, it is easy to wash, and definitely protects our terrace.

Honest reviews on Drymate GMC3058 Extra-Large 30-by-58-Inch Gas-Grill Mat
I just returned this mat. It is very light and thin, but almost adequate for what my intended use is; but we have new composite decking and the mat has a warning sticker on the backing that states clearly that the mat is NOT to be used on composite decking. My intent was not to leave it on the deck under the BBQ all the time, but cut it to fit around the feet and just lay it out when I use the BBQ. Composite decking should not have carpeting or material that holds water sitting on it for extended periods and if it is in the sun (where mine is ALL the time), covering the decking will result in uneven sun fading of the decking. So I wanted a light-weight mat, but the backing of this mat is sort of rubbery sticky when out of the box! The package that the mat comes in states "Can be used on composite decks" .... But the 'warning' on the backing states other wise. I was able to pick up a 6'x8' piece of outdoor carpet @ Home D. that is light but 2x as thick as this mat for $18 instead.

the mat is rather flimsy and blows up at the corners. It is not attractive at all. It keeps the deck under it wet all the time. I think a typical outdoor rug would be better. Live and Learn.
