I have an older natural gas grill that the flame shield was pretty much gone from rust and heat. I wanted to add a grate above the burner and use ceramic briquettes instead of the flimsy shield. I ordered this grate since it was close to what I needed for in size, and was very pleasantly surprised at the weight and quality of the grate. I did have to cut it down slightly to fit, but it has worked very well for me so far. I fully expect it to last years, and not fall apart like my original shield did.

Arrived quickly and just as advertised. Rehabilitated my old grill better than new, except for the rust. Works grate! (sic)
