It truly is a set and forget, set the temp and then set the time, put in the meat and fill the water pan, close it up, add the pellets for smoke. ( but you can't help but check it). I have done a pork butt for pulled pork (14 hours) Some pastrami , several slabs of ribs. All great. It is made in china but the only thing cheaply made is the latch, the rivet that holds the bottom part together keeps coming loose and I have to put it back in.

Gave Cajun Injector Smoker to my husband for Father's Day. We have used it at least 4 times since then. He says it is much easier than charcoal, since it maintains the temp. He gets about an hour's worth of smoke from a handfull of pellets, and it's easy to add more. Built-in meat thermometer is real handy, as well. We've done ribs, chicken, sausage, and don't forget the corn (it's awsome). Can't wait for the pulled pork next weekend!

We have been having a great time smoking a chicken, some ribs, brauts and some cheese. The where the pellets go in could be better but we are working around it.

Failed within 3 months of purchase. When it worked, it was great; great construction, fairly easy to use. But the 3rd time I used it, it would pop any and every circuit I plugged it into.
